STAMPEDE IN UNIBEN AS NEW STUDENTS APPEAR FOR PHYSICAL CLEARNCE.

The trend has not changed as new students who were admitted into the 2013-2014 academic session still face the same trouble as those who are already in the school in trying to do their physical clearance.However,it was overboard yesterday when the crowd of students were locked outside the venue for the clearance.In a bid to gain access into the compound some of the students scaled the fence while hose left behind were climbing on each other.the university security in an attempt to maintain peace and order asked the students to go out.This however led to some students collapsing while others were seen been rushed to the health center.Speaking with some of the students,it was gathered that they leave their homes as early as 5am to make it early enough to write their names and have hopes of being cleared.meanwhile,news reaching us says that the school has put up dates and time for various faculties to be cleared on their website.This was done to avoid further damages.
